The Times Expedition -- Epilogue1
Lara reaches the surface through a rocky outcropping in the desert that no one would have thought concealed an entrance to a tomb. Using her compass, Lara makes her way back to the main dig site and finds Professor Malik and Ahmed.

Lara hands the mask to Malik who identifies the visage on the mask to be that of Ankhesenamun, Tutankhamun's widow2.

"So that is the significance of this tomb" Malik eplains. "You have discovered that this section of Tutankhamun 's tomb was prepared for his widow.

Lara leans close and examines the mask and notices the age of the woman's face. "She must have survived Tutankhamun by many years," Lara points out.

Malik nods and looks up at Lara, "Lara, how can I..."

Before Malik can finish thanking Lara, she cuts him off, "Think nothing of it, my friend. I must be off now. After all, I have an article to write." Lara gives him a wink, turns and walks away.
