Run forward up to the step ahead and turn right. Run up to the top of
the steps and turn left. Turn Lara further to the left until she is
facing the ladder on the eastern wall. Take a standing jump and grab
onto the wall and climb down. Release from the wall when Lara reaches
the bottom and turn right. Step forward once or twice. Turn right and walk forward, stepping over the stone ledge. Turn right and enter the tunnel. Turn right and vault up into the smaller tunnel. Run forward and turn left. Run forward, draw the shotgun, and stop before Lara reaches the end of the tunnel. Wait for a skeleton (1) to attack from the right. Blow the skeleton off the ledge and step forward. A second skeleton (2) will attack from the left. Wait for it to get close and blast it off the ledge. |

SECRET #1
|
Run forward and drop off the ledge into the pit. Reverse roll and angle Lara to the left. Run forward toward the southeast corner of the pit and enter the alcove. Crouch down and crawl forward into the crawlspace. Turn left and crawl into SECRET #1 and collect a quiver full of regular crossbow bolts (1), and a small Medi Pack (2). Crawl out of the crawlspace and stand up. Take a hairpin turn to the left and jump up and grab the ledge. Pull up and turn left. | ||

Run around the ledge to the tunnel at the north side of this chamber,
which is opposite the tunnel that Lara entered from. Run forward and
drop into the trench in the middle of the next chamber. Run forward
and crouch down when Lara reaches the end of the trench. Crawl forward until Lara can stand. Climb out of the hole and run forward through the arch. Draw pistols and shoot up the pots to the right of the archway ahead. Pick up a pair of Uzi clips (3). Enter the archway and take a standing jump over the pool to the ledge with the statue of Poseidon. Use one of the tridents. Lara will climb onto the statue and screw the trident head in place. Turn around and take a standing jump back over the pool. Run forward through the arch and turn left. Run forward through the archway ahead and stop before Lara steps down into the room. Each dark circle is a burner that will ignite when Lara steps onto it. Carefully step onto the square to the right. Angle Lara to the left and run diagonally between the two burners. When Lara reaches the wall, turn right and run to the pots. Reverse roll as two skeletons (3, 4) awaken and all the burners ignite. The simplest method of dealing with the skeletons is to draw the grenade launcher and wait a moment for the two skeletons to converge and then blast them both, as well as the pots, apart with a single regular grenade. Otherwise Lara can Lure them back to the room with the statue and try to blast them into the pool with the shotgun. When the skeletons and the pots are destroyed, pick up a quiver full of regular crossbow bolts (4), a box of wideshot shotgun shells (5), and a box of regular shotgun shells (6). Step forward and carefully exit this room by negotiating through the spaces between the burners. When Lara is clear of the burner room, run forward and turn left. Run forward and drop back into the tunnel at the southern end of the tunnel. The tunnel is now full of flowing water after Lara replaced the trident head. Swim forward and surface in the next chamber. Swim to the end of the trench and pull up out of the water. Run forward into the next chamber and run around the ledge that runs the circumference of the room and enter the tunnel in the south wall. Run forward and turn right. Run forward and drop into the stream of water that is now flowing down the trench into the hole in the center of the room. Walk forward to the room with giant drain and turn left. Run forward through the doorway into the chamber to the east. Angle Lara to the right and drop into the trench. Run down the trench until Lara is past the opening and enters the chamber with the large carved face. Turn left and run forward out of the trench. Turn left again when Lara reaches the wall. Climb up the wall until Lara reaches a higher room. Shift to the left and release from the wall. Turn around and run forward through the archway. Draw the shotgun and run forward through the next archway. A skeleton (5) will leap out from the right. Blast it into the pool. Turn right and draw pistols. Crouch down and blast the pots in the corner. Step forward and pick up the box of wideshot shotgun shells (7). Turn around and walk forward to the edge of the pool. Take a standing jump to the platform in the middle of the pool and use another of the trident heads. Lara will climb up onto the statue and screw the second trident head in place causing water to flow from the carved face in the chamber below. Turn around take a standing jump over the pool. Run forward, through the two archways until Lara returns to the hole that she climbed up through. Take a standing jump and grab onto the wall. Climb down the wall and when Lara is near the ground, take a back flip off of the wall. A water elemental (6) will emerge from the carved face, so quickly angle Lara to the left and run forward. Take a running jump over the part of the wall that slopes toward the trench and run forward through the archway. Take a hairpin turn to the right and climb up the wall. When Lara reaches the ledge above, backflip off of the ladder and hop backwards until her back is against the statue of the falcon and crouch down. Wait patiently until the water elemental crashes into the statue and explodes. Walk forward and take a standing jump to grab onto the ladder. Climb back down into the room with the giant drain. Turn right and step forward. Turn right and run forward past the flowing stream and enter the archway on the western wall. Run forward and turn left when Lara is past the sloping parts of the wall. Run forward until reaches the wall. Side step to the right until Lara steps onto the burner. The burner will ignite, but if Lara is firmly pressed against the wall, she won't take any damage. Jump up and grab the crawlspace above and pull up into a crouched position. When she can stand, angle Lara to the left and step forward. Lara can destroy the two inactive skeletons here with a grenade if she chooses, otherwise angle her to the right and run forward through the archway. Draw pistols and crouch down and blow apart the pots on the ground. Pick up the small Medi Pack (8) and enter the archway. Take a standing jump over the pool to the platform in the center. Use another trident. Lara will climb up the statue and screw the trident head in place. Turn around and take a standing jump over the pool. As Lara approaches the second archway, one of the skeletons (9) will awaken. Lara can destroy it with a explosive crossbow bolt or she can try to blast the skeleton into the pool. After dealing with the skeleton, Lara can approach the crawlspace that she entered from and a second skeleton (7) will attack. Again, Lara can destroy it with explosive ammunition or blast it into the pool. When both skeletons are destroyed, enter the crawlspace and crouch down. Crawl forward and turn around. Have Lara dangle herself out of the crawlspace and shimmy to the left. When Lara is as far to the left as she can shimmy, release and drop down to the burner. Side step to the left and turn around. Run forward to the water-filled trench and turn right. Run forward along the trench and when Lara is past the sloped walls, angle Lara to the right and take a running jump out of the trench. Run forward through the archway on the right and run forward to the tunnel on the south side of the room. Run forward into the tunnel and turn right. Run forward to the end of this tunnel and turn left. Run forward into the next chamber. Climb up the pole and when Lara reaches the upper level, rotate Lara a quarter turn counter-clockwise and backflip off the pole. Turn right and step forward. Turn right and run through the archway. Continue through the second archway and a skeleton (8) will awaken ahead. Draw the shotgun and blast it into the pool. Take a standing jump over the pool to the platform in the center of the pool. Use the last trident. Lara will climb onto the statue and screw on the final trident. Turn around and take a standing jump over the pool. Run forward through the archway and the skeleton (9) on the right will awaken. Either destroy it with explosive ammunition or lure it back to the pool and blast it into the pool with the shotgun. The best way to set up the skeleton to be blasted into the pool is by jumping to and from the platform with the statue. When the skeleton is destroyed, go to the northwest corner of the chamber between the two arches and draw pistols. Crouch down and blast the pot in the corner and pick up a box of wideshot shotgun shells (9) and a quiver full of regular crossbow bolts (10). Turn around and run through the eastern arch and take a standing jump and grab the pole. Slide down the pole and release when Lara is at the bottom. Turn left and run along the trench until the water is deep enough to swim. Swim forward and turn right. Swim forward until the water becomes two shallow to swim. Wade forward and turn left. Walk forward and drop into the hole in the middle of the room which should now be partially full of water. Swim down and enter an underwater tunnel in the western wall of the water-filled pit. Swim down into the tunnel and turn left. Swim forward and turn right to surface. Swim forward and pull out of the water. Run forward and vault up to the higher ledge. Angle Lara to the left and run up the stairs in the tunnel on the left. A skeleton (10) will awaken at the top of the stairs, so turn right, run forward, turn right and run down the other tunnel back to the room with the pool. Drop back down to the lower ledge. Wait a moment and a second skeleton (11) will arrive. Either blast them with explosive ammunition or blow off their heads with regular crossbow bolts aimed with the laser target from the safety of the lower ledge. When both skeletons are destroyed or rendered harmless. Run up either set of stairs and turn left. When Lara reaches the landing turn right and run up the next flight of stairs. Drop down to the floor ahead and two water elementals (12, 13) will attack. Draw pistols and blow apart one of the two vases, which are in the alcoves to the left and right, to reveal statues of falcons. Run to the statue and crouch down. Wait until both elementals have crashed into the statue and exploded. |

Left Gauntlet
|
Stand up and run to the center of the room with the four pools in the
corners. Turn and enter the chamber to the west. Run forward to the
sarcophagus and push open the lid to collect the Left Gauntlet (10). The two doors to the left and right will
open. Reverse roll and run forward. Run forward to the mosaic of the sun on the floor and turn right. Run forward to the panel with the carved face in the southern alcove. Press the panel with the carved face to lower a panel in the ground in the opposite alcove1. Reverse roll and run forward to drop into the newly opened hole. Follow the tunnel as it winds to the left, back to the right, back to the left, again to the left. |
