After a long train ride, there's nothing like kicking up your heels in the company of friends. It's a good thing you have a friend to hang out with in Alexandria,
Sights to See
 Alexandria has been called the "Pearl of the Mediterranean". It was built circa 300BC by the Greek architect, Dinocrates at the command of Alexander the Great.

Although Alexandria has grown into the second largest city in Egypt and is its main seaport, you will only have time to visit a small portion of it.

Surrounding the main city areas you will be able to explore some of the coastal ruins, as well as the Great Library. There's a lot to see in the areas surrounding the city, but don't forget to drop in on your friends when you pass through.
Local Fauna
 There isn't much wild life to be found in the city. You may encounter a few scorpions, so watch your feet.
Locals
 The locals aren't friendly to tourists. Well, that's not completely fair. I'm sure the locals would show you hospitality if they hadn't been scared off by mercenaries that now skulk about the city's alleys.
Souvenirs
Although the street markets may carry interesting souvenirs, you will probably be more interested in a Laser Sight that you can obtain from a friend in the city.
Hidden Treasures
 There is one in Alexandria. If you explore you will find the door as well as the switch that opens it. It's just a matter of getting to the switch.
Hazards
 The Alexandria you will see is just a couple of blocks of aging city. What you have to worry about is all the riff-raff that's running loose in the city.
