            5.2.2  I can see the key behind the gate, but why can't I pull
            the lever?

            That little vertical stick is an underwater lever and can
            only be pulled when the lever is submerged.  Yup, you
            guessed it, you need to flood that pool.  The hows and
            whys are simple.  Just move on and come back when you've
            managed to flood this pool
